  20. What Forth libraries are available, and how can I access them?

  22.   There are several repositories of Forth programs, sources, executables,
  23.   and so on.  These various repositories are NOT indentical copies of the
  24.   same things.  Material is available on an AS-IS basis due to the charity
  25.   of the people involved in maintaining the libraries.  In addition to
  26.   the sources listed below, many of the ForthNet branches also have
  27.   libraries available.  See "Forth FAQ: ForthNet: What and how?" for
  28.   information on accessing ForthNet.

  32. Getting Forth files directly from The Forth Interest Group:

  34.   The Forth Interest Group maintains a library of Forth files
  35.   available on disk.  You can write them for an order form, their
  36.   address is in the "Forth FAQ: Organizations and Publications." They
  37.   also have a very extensive library on line on GEnie.  For GEnie
  38.   access information, see "Forth FAQ: ForthNet: What and how?".

  42. Getting Forth files via FTP:
  43.  
  44.   There is an FTP site in Portugal devoted to Forth, which contains a
  45.   mirror of the FIG library on GEnie, plus whatever anyone has donated.
  46.   The archive is run by Paulo A. D. Ferreira who has donated the resources
  47.   for it.  The archive machine name/address is:
  48.         asterix.inescn.pt 192.35.246.17
  49.   and the files are in the directory:
  50.         pub/forth
  51.  
  52.   Please note:  There are several other FTP sites on the network that
  53.         have Forth directories.  However, this is the only FTP site
  54.         that has a respository specificly for Forth files of any
  55.         and all kinds.  SIMTEL20 has some MSDOS only files, but
  56.         those are very old.  A few other sites are the primary
  57.         distribution points for particular Forth systems.  If you
  58.         are the maintainer of such a site, please email me some text
  59.         that I can add to the FAQ messages.

  143.     FNEAS is a service that allows people without FTP or other methods to
  144.     accesss Forth libraries via email.  (Note that you may also be able to
  145.     use the EMail interface to FTP.)  To access FNEAS, send email to:
